Gut Sponge® from Protexin® contains psyllium husks, a prebiotic and valuable energy source for horses. Through the fermentation of psyllium husks by microbiota, which provides safe calories, it supports the growth of beneficial bacteria and nourishes the cells of the intestinal lining.

The fibre-rich psyllium husks absorb fluid in the gut, coat and protect the intestinal lining, and help to produce normal droppings in horses. This is further enhanced by the high content of bentonite—a natural binding agent. Linseed is a nutrient-rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which also support the horse’s gut health and overall well-being.

Ingredients:
- Psyllium husks: High-fibre husks containing a natural binding agent that absorbs fluid in the gut, aiding the production of normal droppings
- Bentonite: A natural binding agent.
- Linseed: Rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Feeding Recommendations:
Feed 50 g (1 level scoop) sprinkled over feed twice daily for 7–14 days. Thereafter, feed once daily as required or as directed by your veterinarian.
