It is good to provide a supplement of electrolytes in connection when the horse sweating a lot (hard physical work) and by wet stools.
If the horse gets enough electrolytes, it also shortens the recovery time after repeated efforts and makes the horse more inclined to drink (it is therefore important to ensure that the horse has access to clean water, of course!).

Concentrated electrolytes are used when salt is not enough.
