Keratex Hoof Putty is a practical and antiseptic wax used to fill cavities in the horse’s sole – for example after abscesses or cracks. The product allows the horse to be turned out without risking dirt, mud, or bacteria entering and disturbing the healing process.

The semi-permanent wax softens in your hands and forms a tight, stable plug that both protects and supports the hoof during recovery. Hoof Putty also has antiseptic properties, making it especially useful for aftercare following abscesses, pressure or other hoof issues.
